Anime Crew: Shoujo Presented by Extreme Kids & Crew

This club centers neurodiverse, femme-identifying youth ages 9–12 who want to learn more about anime. But all are welcome! Participants will discover different anime genres and dive into stories and characters that resonate with them. They’ll also learn how to design original characters, develop storyboards, and create short mangas, with an emphasis on celebrating girls’ creativity and perspectives. Each session will encourage participants to express themselves through storytelling, art, and imagination, while building their social and collaboration skills in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Registration is encouraged. For more information, email cristina@extremekidsandcrew.org. This is an accessible event. Please do not wear perfume, cologne, or other scented products while using the space.
