Grab & Go Craft Kit: Veterans Day Flag

This week we celebrate and honor our Veterans by making a very special flag. November 11 and every day, we say Thank you to our soldiers for your service so we can live, study, work and play in peace! We Remember your sacrifice! Explaining to young children why Veterans Day is important isn’t that easy. Do you know why Veterans Day is important? - Is it like my birthday? No, Veteran’s Day is when we give thanks to soldiers and all of the people that keep our country safe. – Like Thanksgiving? Yes, like Thanksgiving for the military!
