Birding in Highland Park

Join Arlington Library for a morning of bird watching around Ridgewood Reservoir! Fall migration is here and Ridgewood Reservoir is popping with warblers, thrushes, sparrows, and other songbirds. We will be meeting in the parking lot of Upper Highland Park on Saturday, November 7th at 10:00am and heading to the Reservoir at 10:15am. Materials for the bird watching experience will be provided by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation . Just bring yourself, water, and sunscreen! We suggest wearing neutral colors to blend in with the environment around us. Avoid bright clothing! Stick around after birding to expand your curiosities and check out materials at the BPL Bookmobile in the parking lot of Upper Highland Park. All ages are welcome.
