Comics Are For Everyone (CAFE) Expo!

C.A.F.E.: Comics Are For Everyone! C.A.F.E. is a single-day event in collaboration with BODEGA and Kindplay, all about celebrating the world of comics. Join us at the Leonard Library branch in East Williamsburg for a full day of workshops, activities, and chances to discover new books from some of the best creators working in all-ages comics today. Special guests will include John Patrick Green (InvestiGators, Hippopotamister, Teen Boat!), Wendy Xu (Infinity Particle, Tidesong, Mooncakes), and creative duo Veronica Agarwal and Lee Durfey-Lavoie (Just Roll With It, Sink or Swim). Come by the Leonard Library on November 7th between 11am-4pm with the whole family to enjoy the fun and creative world of comics, both as readers and as aspiring comic artists. Books from the speakers listed above will be available for purchase from our local indie bookseller, The Twisted Spine, on site.
