E-Waste and Textile Community Recycling Event

Join us for an E-Waste and Textile Collection Event in partnership with the Department of Sanitation , powered by Lower East Side Ecology Center . Let's recycle the things we own responsibly! E-waste collected include: household and office electronics (computers, laptops, keyboards, printers), smaller entertainment electronics (video game consoles, cell phones, MP3 players), and TVs, VCRs, DVDs, DVRs. *Unacceptable items: commercial e-waste, household appliances, air conditioners, batteries, lightbulbs. Textiles collected include: clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, towels, curtains. All fabric imust be clean clean, dry, and unsoiled. Textile dropoffs must be in bags! The event will take place outside of the library on Norman Ave. There is no dropoff at the library before the event. Items are colleted the day of the event.
